Каким образом я могу выполнить Bios recovery, если на материнской плате нет FDD контроллера?
Почему в документации нет никакого описания процедуры recovery

А что дискеты это последний носитель в этой жизнь? Есть флешка, SD, да куча в общем всяких носителей.

Для перепрошивки можно использовать хоть флешку - хоть CD.

а вот BIOS Recovery можно выполнить только с дискеты...
по крайней мере так было пару лет назад...

А вот если можно не только с дискеты - то почему у MSI нехватило смекалки это в документации написать?

вместо этого в доке описана процедура восстановления БИОСа с дискеты - это при том, что на новых маринках отсутствует FDD контроллер!!!!!!

У вас бут-блок хоть что-нибудь на экран выводит?

а так делаем загрузочный диск с голым досом, можно и на флэшке через эмуляцию флоппи, с пом. утилиты от HP.



из ДОС-а оставляем только
IO.SYS
MSDOS.SYS
COMMAND.COM

копируем туда содержимое архива
Server_9175MS120.zip

и делаем autoexec.bat
вот такой:
phlash16 175MS120.WPH  /mode=3 /bbl /c /x
